| Even though now
you think of Al Gore as a stiff businessman, apparently at one
time this wasn't so. He supposedly used to be a
"normal" teenager... I'm not sure if I buy that, but
I guess it could very well be true... just visit his campaign
website and you can see a clock counting off the days that
Bush has avoided a debate with him. That was obviously the
work of a smartass worthy of my admiration. Once again, just
because Gore seems like a nice guy doesn't mean I'd want him
as the leader of the free world...
My main reason for having a bad vibe
about him is the fact that he tolerates his wife. Hear me out
here; In every interview for every candidate you have the
customary fluff piece known as the "Family angle".
Gore family angles always circulate around how he loves his
wife more then ever and that she is perfect in every way.
Gore's wife is a bitch. That may sound a bit harsh, but does
anyone here remember Tipper Gore?
Tipper founded the P.M.R.C. (Parents
Music Resource Center). You know those little "Parental
advisory" labels on CD's? That was Tipper. Her little
group was pressuring the government to legally define
obscenity, and she would have loved it if she could have
gotten anything declared "Obscene" banned from
stores. She was so persuasive that the record companies agreed
to put on the parental advisory stickers as part of a kinda
plea-bargain.
Gore supported the decency act. The
decency act was the major piece of shit that basically said we
don't know what's good for us and should have all things
"immoral" taken away before we hurt
ourselves with it. You know those people who blame video
games, movies, and Marilyn Manson for everything? Guess where
those pricks really started coming out of the
wood work...
Now that is probably the worst
thing I have on him. That he is conservative to fault. True,
that is bad, but he is no where near as conservative as his
opponent, so I guess I can forgive that rather then dealing
with Bush.
The rest of what I have against
Gore is small and really just nit-picking. For example, he
wants to appeal to minorities but doesn't know how. The next
time he walks up to a black man and tries to get him to
"high-five", I will pay that man to "accidentally"
miss and smack him between his eyes. Not maliciously, I don't
want Gore hurt, he seems to be a semi-decent guy. I just want
him to either stop playing minor stereotypes, or play the big
politically incorrect stereotypes so we can all laugh at him.
I'd love to see him bopping along in a low-rider listening to
rap music with a pimp-cane in the passenger seat and a 40 on
the dash-board. I'd actually pay to see that if I could bring
my trusty digital camera... whatever it cost me to see it
would surely be made up by the money I could get through
blackmail...
All and all, Gore is bad, but better
then Bush. So if I were you, Mr. Voter, and I wanted to vote
for one of the two major competitors, I'd vote Gore. Well... I
wouldn't... I'd vote "None of the above" and write
in "Cyclops"... but that's just me...
