An Opposing View-Point

Dear Mr. Penis,

Although it is quite the popular thing in the media today to talk only about the two candidates for president ala Gore and Bush and occasionally throw in Nader and Buckhannon for the fun of it, we must not forget a true third party alternative. The Libertarians have been around since the 70's and have the most office holders of any third party. They are running over 200 candidates in the next election cycle. They stand for liberty. That means that each of us have the freedom to live our lives as we choose as long as what we do does not interfere with the same rights of others. Your life is your own which includes your reproductive organs, your nervous system, your mind and your money. The Libertarians do not believe in the initiation of force except for defense of one's life and property. They believe in a free market, the withdrawal of all U.S. troops abroad and an end to all welfare by the Federal Government. That means ALL corporate welfare.

Thanks,

       Mike

Counter-Point

For starters, "Mr. Penis"? I'm flattered... my reputation spans many a site... next, Harry Brown 2000, huh? Well, I'm all for equal time. The only reason I didn't include the libertarians in the basic run-up was because I was lazy and I figured chances are no one would notice the absence. Since people apparently do care, this is now on the front page of the Campaign 2000 Coverage website along with the others:

Harry Brown - A run down of the libertarian candidate.
