     Short answer: Because we can. As I stated earlier, your average guy thinks about sex more frequently than he thinks of pretty much anything else. And to be perfectly blunt, we can get an erection regardless of what's going on around us at that moment. Now sometimes we are in a public place, and we just have to wait it out and hope it goes down before anyone notices. But other times we are alone…

     When a man is horny, he wants to have sex. He would of course prefer to be having sex with someone else, but sometimes no one else is available. In cases like this, a man turns to porn and his hand to take care of everything. I wish I could say there is some deep-rooted reason that makes masturbation important, but there really isn’t. 

     Why do we masturbate? Because it feels good. That’s why.
